MATILDA LURCI, KNITWEAR
Knitting has been a lifetime hobby for Matilda. She used it to help relax after a long day at work. Now that she is retired, she spends most of the day making slippers and boots.
Matilda has always been passionate about handmade products and for 40 years worked in a craft shop. She loved arranging the artist’s work in a way that showed customers the artist’s passion and love for their work.
A few years ago, when Matilda came to Ireland to visit her daughter, she fell in love with the country and its people. She decided to move here. She found that knitting helped her to get in contact with her new community and she loves sharing her hobby with all of us here in Passage West.
