ORLA O’ROURKE, CERAMIC ARTIST
Orla O’Rourke trained in the Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork. When she finished she decided that she wanted to work with ceramics. Stable Door Pottery was born, originally located in an old shed and stables just outside the town of Dunmanway.
Orla has been working in pottery for over 17 years now. During that time she opened another studio in Shanagarry, East Cork. Stable Door Pottery offers a vast range of products from kitchen ware to table ware, bespoke designs, corporate gifts and wall hangings. Orla designs and makes every piece herself, from designing and rolling the clay to painting and firing.
