
ASSUMPTA LYDON, PATCHWORK & STITCHING
Assumpta has been doing patchwork and stitching for the past 25 years. She first learned to patchwork at an evening class at the local Passage West community school.
Patchwork has since become part of her life. In 2016 she was elected as chairperson of the Southern Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society, a position she held for three years.
Assumpta is a member of the popular stitching group, Pin Pals, who have a wide range of bags, dog beds, aprons and more that is affordable, practical and beautiful in Passage West Creates. Assumpta also loves book folding, silk painting and quilting.
