CAROLYN DARRER, CERAMICS
Carolyn leaned into her creative side from an early age. From hairdressing to working with textiles, she has always enjoyed creating beautiful things. Being a qualified interior designer, she found that she was not only sourcing pieces for clients, she was also creating her own artwork – textiles, acrylic paintings, graphite drawings, batik and of course, ceramics.
Carolyn’s main focus is creating bespoke framed pieces, things that make her heart happy and put smiles on people’s faces. She loves working with others, making pieces that capture a place or time that is special to them. Her 3D artwork is made of various types of clay. All are crafted by hand and whether a capture of your wedding day in a bespoke framed piece or a trinket dish, every single piece is unique.
